Not every event deserves the same response

An alert is only the beginning. Giant-Care uses methods to determine what should happen after an event is received.

A method can consider where the event originated, what generated it, when it occurred, the location involved, the people available and the sequence of actions appropriate to that situation.

A resident pressing a call button at 2:00 AM should not necessarily produce the same response as a maintenance sensor at noon. A flood sensor shouldn't be treated like an intrusion. A technical failure shouldn't be treated like a medical emergency.

Methods can define who is contacted first, which communication channel is used, how long the system waits, when the response escalates and what happens next.

Context changes the response. Giant-Care turns alerts into an orchestrated action.
