Giant-Care was designed as an open ecosystem rather than a closed monitoring system. People, buildings, equipment, sensors, communication services and software can participate in the same response environment.
An event might originate from an eGiant device, another manufacturer's product, an existing nurse-call system, a building sensor, an Internet-connected application or a future technology that doesn't exist yet. That's intentional.
